Julie Helles Eriksen is a multidisciplinary designer from Denmark. As a designer she focus on conceptual work at the intersection of hands-on doing, material research and exploring areas where trend forecasting and executing objects, fashion and new ideas clash together.
Julie has a strong skill for details and believes they matter. She is convinced that it is important to challenge the current status quo to create a more sustainable future. Observing individuals and finding inspiration in the unexpected way how we deal and treat a place and objects in our environment are her passion.
She is currently enrolled in the master program “Contextual Design” at Design Academy Eindhoven, Netherlands and holds a bachelor degree in fashion design from Design School Kolding in Denmark. Prior to studying in Eindhoven she interned at Henrik Vibskov in Copenhagen and Unmade London.
Her work was published in various publications as Trend Tablet and Frame Magazine and was showcased at the Salone del Mobile in Milano.
