Julie Helles Eriksen is a multidisciplinary designer from Denmark. As a designer she focuses on conceptual work at the intersection of hands-on creating, material research and exploring areas where identity, textile objects and new ideas clash with each other.
Julie is very skilled at working with details, 3D shapes and textures and believes they matter. Observing individuals and finding inspiration in the subconscious way we deal with objects in our environment are her passions.
Julie is currently enrolled in the master program “Contextual Design” at Design Academy Eindhoven, Netherlands and holds a bachelor degree in fashion design from Design School Kolding in Denmark. Prior to studying in Eindhoven she interned at Henrik Vibskov in Copenhagen and Unmade in London.
Her work has been published in various publications, such as Interni Magazine and Frame Magazine, and was among others showcased in Copenhagen, Berlin, Paris and Milan.
